TRAINING

PROFORM'89 Training

The SENOBLE Group has undergone, is undergoing and will continue to undergo many changes in industrial and human terms. Its human resources, with their many skills, have always proved highly adaptable and reactive whenever they have had to meet a challenge. The transmission of know-how is part of the SENOBLE culture, but it also involves skills acquired through training.

Training is a tradition with SENOBLE.

In 2001, the SENOBLE Group decided to create its own training centre, PROFORM'89. This is mainly designed for people within the company, but is also open to external businesses. All the internal courses are taught by trainers who are Senoble employees. These are people with hands-on experience, who are experts in their specialities and have also acquired the necessary educational methods and techniques to run the training sessions.

The aim of creating this centre is to respond to the company's needs in terms of training and qualification, to manage training actions more effectively, to give full value to the trainers' skills in a well-adapted structure, and to convey our culture and ideas.

PROFORM'89 also calls on especially chosen external service providers, negotiating the best value for money, and participates in the programmes to ensure that the courses are always appropriate to the trainees and their particular problems. The management aims at making training an activity in its own right.

The principal areas of training are management, languages, security, hygiene, prevention, logistics, transport, production and company economics, but they also extend to literacy and the standardisation of basic skills in French and maths.

PROFORM'89: recruitment

PROFORM'89 also acts as a recruiting firm, particularly in employing the young graduates who make up the "hatching ground" for our company. It responds to the requirements of department managers by defining profiles, drafting job advertisements, sorting applications, and interviewing and selecting applicants to be presented to the management.

The structure relies on the skills of around thirty internal trainers.
Close collaboration with the principal departments at the sites and plants also makes it possible to harmonise recruiting practices and training schemes, and improve them at the same time.
