1921 Senoble

• Sophie Senoble founds a small traditional cheese dairy at Jouy. This is the start of a great family saga…

1940 Senoble

• André Senoble succeeds his mother and enlarges the dairy to industrial proportions.

1960 senoble

• Claude Senoble joins his father and develops the production of the first fresh dairy products.

1980 1990 Senoble

• Claude Senoble, with true visionary acumen, makes the successful changeover to ultra-fresh products with distributor brands. Also during these two decades:

• Cheese production stops and the Jouy factory is converted to manufacture fresh dairy products.

• Marc Senoble joins his father and production is diversified to include desserts.

• The company undergoes astonishing expansion thanks to its distributor brands, and starts to export its products.

• First mass media communications on the SENOBLE dessert brand.

• Acquisition of the WeightWatchers licence.

2004 Senoble

• Spain : First industrial establishment set up in Europe, at Noblejas.

2005 Senoble

• Part of the company's capital is transferred to an investment fund, 3i, to finance international growth.
The family retains possession of 75% of the capital.

2005 Senoble

• Construction of a logistics platform in Villeroy, near Jouy.

• Germany : creation of a commercial subsidiary.

• Slovakia : acquisition of a production unit at Zvolen.

2007 Senoble

• UK : acquisition of Elisabeth-The-Chef (EtC).

• Slovakia : acquisition of Gemerska Mliekaren, a powdered milk and butter factory near Zvolen.

2008 Senoble

• Italy : acquisition of a majority stake in Bergamin

• 3i leaves the company, and SENOBLE is once more owned 100% by the family.

2009 Senoble

• Slovakia: acquisition of an industrial site in order to bring together the activities of the two other factories Zvolen and Gemerska.

2010 Senoble

• Italy: Bergamin is now a full subsidiary of Senoble’s company and will be renamed Senoble Italia by the end of 2011.

• Slovakia: Implementation of Zvolen production plant, which regroups activities from the two old plants; namely Zvolen and Gemerska.

• UK: building and implementation of a new factory producing desserts in replacement of Elisabeth the Chef plants. The new subsidiary is to be renamed Senoble UK by the end of 2011.

• Opening of a brand new Innovation Centre in Jouy.
